"The transition between inner and outer form"

I make ceramic stoneware vessels and sculpture for home and garden. The themes of my work are of growing and unfolding; and about the transition between inner and outer form, surface and edge. The smooth and sensual shapes that emerge are striking, unusual, archetypal, and feature textured, unglazed surfaces complimented subtly by smooth satin-matt glaze. All work is hand built using a combination of techniques – mainly throwing and slabwork, and is fired to 1200ºC-1250ºC. All work is water- and frost-proof.

I show my work at shows and galleries nationally. For a current listing of events, galleries and workshops please refer to my website.
