I derive my ideas from ancient maps - elements from these decorate my porcelain lidded boxes. Vitreous slips provide colour, lustres provide sparkle and the interiors are gold leafed.

David Brown makes vessels of high quality and individuality. Long recognised for his expertise in designing and making teapots, he also produces vases, bowls etc. Colourful turquoise blues or mauve glazes combine textural and smooth surfaces, which reflect his interest in the sea, sky, rock and fossils.

Selling in local shops and galleries, craft fairs, and from workshop in Topsham on some sunny Saturday mornings. Pottery now part-time, alongside naturopathic/osteopathic practice.
