My ceramic Vessels and Jewellery are hand sculpted and bisqued, then glazed in white, fired to stoneware temperature. I hand paint every piece in glazes coloured and mixed by myself and then fire again. The inspiration comes from my up bringing on the Swedish west coast.

I enjoy all apects of pottery and sculpture, making and having fun with clay and glazes. My stoneware 'Daisy Designs' are decorated using wax relief and double dipping my glazes and then high firing in an electric kiln.

I make small scale sculptures in stoneware and paperclay. Most are groups of figures with the emphasis on movement and ambivalent emotion rather than detail. I also make horses. Each piece is unique; some can be displayed outdoors.

Observations inspired by nature are the key elements in my work. Tranquility is found in simple pleasures - flowing water, Curlew songs, moorlands and rock pools.
