Ceramic Art London 2018

The UK’s favourite contemporary ceramics event returns for its fourteenth year to the bright and airy environs of Central Saint Martins on the 23rd to 25th of March; three days featuring 92 of the finest makers in the world , alongside a packed programme of talks and installations.

Exhibitors cover the cross section of contemporary practice, from tableware to figurative and abstract sculpture. As usual there’s a high percentage of first timers and a large number of international exhibitors from Brazil to Japan.

There’s a full programme of talks every day included with your ticket. The keynote this year comes from Grayson Perry, who despite his fame outside of the world of ceramics still describes himself as a potter. Other sessions run the gamut from practising artists to historical overviews.

In addition, Neil Brownsword brings his poignant live art installation Factory to run during all three days of the show, and the students of Central Saint Martins will be working from a pop-up atelier; visitors can see all aspects of making and are invited to contribute critical feedback.

No raise in ticket prices from 2017 and as before kids go free and there is a significantly reduced rate for under 25s.
