Christine Gittins Demonstration Day

Sunday 25th September 2016, 10.30am for 11-4pm
Cossington Village Hall
Trivetts Way
Christine is a South African thrower of over thirty years’ experience and she produces traditional classical shapes, which are finished in a contemporary style. Burnished clay surfaces interact with saggar fired ‘naked raku’ to give irresistibly smooth sensuous multi-coloured surfaces.

There is a very informative article about Christine’s work by Karen Edwards on page 6 of in WPA newsletter 141.

This is a great opportunity to learn from a dedicated and very experienced ceramicist and we hope that you will take the opportunity to come along to Cossington for what promises to be a wonderful day with Christine.
