Craft Festival Bovey Tracey 2021

10th to 12th September 2021
Mill Marsh Park, Bovey Tracey, TQ13 9AU
We are delighted to confirm that we will have our annual stand at the Craft Festival Bovey Tracey this September. We are looking forward to another excellent display from our members; the show is a wonderful opportunity for potters, ceramicists, and all types of clay makers to showcase work at a top national contemporary show.
For 2021 we will follow the approach we introduced for the cancelled 2020 event, selecting a slightly reduced number of potters to join us on the WPA Gallery stand; a decision made by committee to be able to fully showcase the work submitted and allow successful applicants to submit a slightly increased number of pieces. We hope to exhibit a wide variety of work and have also made the decision to officially accept necklaces and pendants from a limited number of potters. The criteria for entering necklaces and pendants into the show is that they are of majority ceramic origin, all by the maker and must be displayed on a wooden or black display bust provided by the maker.
As detailed in the last magazine, we are delighted to keep the costs the same as the last two years for exhibiting with us; £30 to enter the show with a 25% sales commission. You will need to have a WPA online Gallery page which reflects your current work and philosophy as it is from this that selection will be made. If you do not already have this then please provide a 100 word artist’s statement plus six excellent images of your work, unedited and uncropped, following the guidelines available on the website. Please send these to and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. Have a look on the website for ideas and examples of other potters’ Gallery pages.
The timetable for entries and applications is as follows:
 The deadline for submitting your updates to the Members Gallery is July 1st
 The deadline for submitting your application form is July 10th
 Successful applicants will be notified by the 1st of August.

Application forms are available here:
Download PDF or Download Word Form
Successful applicants will be requested to do some stewarding during part of the show.
As the WPA are organising a collection service from various points around the West Country, we will detail the collection points in due course; works need to be available at the collection points a minimum of 1 week before the date of the show.
