Social Lunch 2020 - Now Fully Booked

What better way to celebrate St David’s Day and the start of spring than with our first event of the New Year, our Social Lunch. This is a wonderful opportunity to come and enjoy the company of other Westcountry Potters members, especially if you are relatively new to the WPA. We are delighted to have secured the lovely Terrace Café at the Devon Guild, Bovey Tracey as our venue. This will be closed to other visitors for the duration of the lunch and we hope for an excellent attendance.
Guests will have the opportunity, both before and after lunch, to explore the Guild’s galleries which host a variety of exhibitions, and perhaps peruse the Guild’s gift shop.

The restaurant is offering a starter, main course and dessert with a hot drink to follow for £19. The menu choice is:
Pea & Leek Soup with sourdough bread (vg/df) (gf option)
Roast Butternut squash and feta cheese salad, tomato pesto and pine nuts (v/gf)
Sautéed Portobello mushrooms, with garlic on toast (v)(gf option)
Chicken liver parfait, onion chutney and melba toast (gf option)
Smoked salmon, capers, dill, citrus mayo (gf/df)

Lamb stew with cheddar & rosemary scone.
Smoked haddock fish cake, vegetable and herb cream, soft poached egg.
Caramelized shallot, goats cheese and balsamic tart, roast tomatoes, potato cake & kale (v).
Pan fried salmon fillet, new potato cake, spinach, béarnaise sauce (gf).
Wild Mushroom Risotto, Rocket dressing, parmesan (v/gf)

Sticky toffee pudding, butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream.
Lemon posset, vanilla cream, shortbread.
Warm Treacle tart with clotted cream.
Baked vanilla cheesecake with honeycomb and fruit coulis.
Triple chocolate brownie, chocolate sauce & cream.
