Studio visit to Jennie Hale

Thursday 5th September. 10.30 am for 11.00 am start to 4pm approx.
East Colliford Farmhouse and Pottery, St. Neot, Cornwall. PL14 6PX

Our September visit will be to Jennie’s relatively new, purpose built studio on the edge of Bodmin Moor.
Many members will be familiar with Jennie’s stunning raku animal sculptures and superb water-colours of the natural world drawn from her close observation and love of nature. Her work is much sought after and widely exhibited.
Her studio is an absolute treat. The large display area is full of her vibrant work and she has a large workshop space and purpose built firing and smoking area attached to it. All this set in lovely moorland countryside whatever the weather!
During the day Jennie will give us a programme including a tour of her studio, a presentation, a demonstration of her outstanding handbuilding techniques in making one of her animals, decorating and a video of firing.
